We appreciate your interest in advocacy ministry and hope these resources will be helpful to you and your congregation. Your involvement in advocacy ministry is important, and we ask that you prayerfully consider taking action in any or all of these ways:
Get Connected
If you're not yet a member of our Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Network, consider joining today! We'll send you e-mail alerts and our occasional newsletter.
Read about an issue which impacts people living in poverty. Check the "Issues" link for resources.
Attend our annual Faith Advocacy Day in February. We spend time together as a faith community to learn about critical issues each year and take advocacy action.
Attend our Ending Hunger workshop each fall to learn what you can do to end hunger.
Pray
Pray for all ELCA advocacy ministries and for guidance as to how you might be called to get involved.
Act
Respond to action alerts during legislative sessions by contacting your legislators. Click here for active alerts.
Check the "Resources" link for tips on how to call, write, and visit your legislators.
Plan an advocacy activity for your congregation. Go to the "Resources" section for toolkits and ideas, or contact Lutheran Advocacy Ministry-Colorado today!
Help Us Help You
Invite us to partner in the advocacy ministry of your congregation. Perhaps we could facilitate and adult forum or bible study,
participate in a youth event or a letter-writing project.
Let us know which issues are most important to you, and how we can support you in your advocacy ministry.
We are graced by your visit to our website and invite you to contact our office if we can be of service to you in your own advocacy ministry in Colorado.
